Who misses Abbott & Costello movies on Sunday afternoons?
When I was growing up the local TV station would play old movies opposite the Saturday Morning cartoons on the networks. I grew up hooked on the old comedies, and monster movies played on the Saturday Morning Movie.
My favorite was Abbott and Costello. The good thing is that most if not all of their movies are now easy to find on DVD. I have most of them, and my Daughter and I love to watch them.
You can also get the old TV show on DVD now. I do not have it yet, but I will order it soon.
So, I know what you mean, when I was a kid there were very few things better than sitting down with my nose inches from the TV laughing and giggling to “HEY ABBOTT!!”
