Introducing The HTC Evo

The newly released Sprint HTC EVO 4G is now available for sale both online and through Sprint retail stores, Radioshack and many Best Buy locations. With many new features never known to man, such as 4G connection, many buyers will camp outside stores to get one.

The Sprint EVO 4G provides download speeds that are ten times faster than 3G cellular phones. The connection is so good and so fast that many users will find that accessing the Internet with this new technology is just as quick and easy as their DSL or cable connected service. The Sprint EVO 4G also works in 3G markets, and as you would expect from any Android phone also features more than 30,000 applications.

This new mobile device from Sprint also features a large 4.3 inch touchscreen, and is even enabled to be connected to an HDTV, offering the customer the chance to watch HD movies on their hand held mobile device. The new Sprint HTC EVO 4G also features not one but two different cameras. It comes with not only a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera, but also comes with an 8.0 megapixel camera as its primary picture taker. As if that wasn’t enough, it also includes “mobile hotspot capability” that will let the customer hook up with up to eight different Wi-Fi enabled devices.

The HTC Evo is an Android 2.1 cell phone and includes the award winning “HTC Sense” UI, which provides a whole new level of customization, navigation, and social networking. The EVO 4G also comes with a digital compass and a convenient “kickstand” that allows you to view media. The unit features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, GPS navigation, microSD card slot, and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and motion sensors. The Evo uses a 1500 mAh Li-lon standard battery made by HTC . HTC Evo batteries are exclusively designed to offer long lasting talk and standby times and can be purchased separately through mobile phone accessory sellers.

Other HTC Evo accessories that are a simply must have for your device are the HTC Evo case and a screen protector. Cases protect the body of the phone while still letting the user use the phone when needed. It will also protect it from accidental fall damage. Screen protectors are a thin piece of film that goes over the screen and helps it stay clean and new. Screen protectors will protect against scratches, fingerprints, dirt, and grime.

The Sprint HTC EVO 4G phone presents a product that is both innovative and easy to use, and is something that many consumers who live for technology will be drooling over. With the new 4G capability that it offers along with the multitude of other features, it is likely that this new offering from Sprint will be one of the most sought after commodities of 2010.

Fifteen cartoons dating from World War II give Volume 6 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection more focus than previous sets. Many of the 1940′s cartoons remain very funny. Bugs Bunny dresses up as Brunnhilda and rides in to the strains of “Tannhauser” in “Herr Meets Hare” (1945), a gag Chuck Jones re-used to greater effect in “What’s Opera, Doc” a dozen years later. Previn’s reading with the LSO appeared just in time to honor the 100th anniversary of the composer’s birth on May 29, 1897. The Berlin- born conductor, wonderfully in tune with the energy and passion of the score, elicits playing of extraordinary potency and expressiveness from his London charges. Kenneth Branagh’s 1993 production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing is a vigorous and imaginative work, cheerful and accessible for everyone. But the…

Joseph Papp’s 1972 CBS-TV television production of The New York Shakespeare Festival’s Broadway staging of Shakespeare’s rollicking comedy is brassy, bouncy and all-together entertaining. Featuring Sam Waterston and the Tony nominated performances of Kathleen Widdoes and Barnard Hughes, Papp’s turn-of-the-century version has Teddy Roosevelt roughriders and bicycle-riding women suffragettes, but re…
