If the American Alligator is endangered, then where do restaurants in Florida get gator tail?

I happen to love the taste of fried gator tail myself. Mmmmmm! Tastes just like chicken!

From Licensed Alligator Farms, like Gatorland. They raise them just like chickens or cows. As far as tasting like chicken? I myself say more like a pork chop cooked in oil that has had fish fried in it. I can get Gator at my local Wal-mart Super Center in the frozen foods isle.
