Aviator Dvd

Is this unhealthy?
I’ve watched The Aviator a total of seven times since it’s come out on dvd a couple years ago. But I’ve watched it three times in the past week and I’m about to watch it again. Should I not?
I just really like this movie. Howard Hughes was brilliant and I think Leonardo DiCaprio did an AMAZING job portraying him.
This is a great movie. If you haven’t seen it, you should.
But anyway, back to my question. Should I stop watching it? Do you think it’s getting a bit unhealthy?
WATCH IT, WATCH IT, WATCH IT. Who cares about if science thinks it is healthy or not. Only you know what is healthy for you. And I will watch it someday

Vienna I Love $3.95 If Rieu is not the most outstanding purveyor of Viennese waltzes and similar light-hearted fare, he is certainly the most popular and well-known. There are plenty of fun pieces on this album, although, to be just a tad pedantic, more of it is Italian and French than remotely Viennese. But it’s all fun, and it’s all well-played. –Sarah Bryan Miller… |

The Aviator $8.20 While Howard Shore’s Golden Globe-winning score offers a masterful orchestral impression of industrialist Howard Hughes’ troubled psychic landscape, this collection of pop tunes, swing and le hot jazz musically frames the historical eras covered by Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed biopic. The director (always intimately involved in his film’s scoring and song choices) delivers a collection that’s a sh… |

The Blue Yonder (aka ‘Time Flyer’) Have you ever thought of traveling through time… going forward or backward to any date? That’s the intriguing question aviator/inventor Max Knickerbocker (E. T’s Peter Coyote) asks 11-year-old Jonothan Knicks (Huckleberry Fox of “Terms of Endearment”). Max is unaware that Jonothan is his grandson – already an adventurous time traveller thanks to a machine built by his neighbour, Henry Coogan (Ac… |

Horse Soldiers [VHS] $3.19 This latter-day sort-of Western from John Ford–falling midway between The Searchers and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance–is a crisp retelling of a true-life episode from the Civil War. In 1863 a Union colonel named Grierson (Marlowe in the film, and John Wayne by any name) led his cavalry several hundred miles behind Confederate lines to cut the railroad between Newton Station and soon-to-be-emb… |

Hell’s Angels $6.42 Two bright facets light up Hell’s Angels, a 1930s aviation melodrama. One is the extraordinary footage re-creating World War I air battles; the other is 18-year-old Jean Harlow. Both are enough to offset the cornball story and stilted dialogue, the latter added late in production, with the advent of motion-picture sound. The movie, almost three years in the making, with a budget of nearly $4 milli… |
