Easycap Dvd Format Problems?

Well i use Easycap to record my console game play as i do Lets Plays, But i rather not record in AVI as it takes up WAY to much, such as a 14 minute video recording is 30Gb, DVD use to work perfect as its smaller size and great quality, but NOW when i record in that the screen bounces up and down very slightly but easily noticeable. it never use to do this, any help on how to stop the screen bouncing? For a example of what the screen does..

Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..
