Why don’t they bring out synthetic gasoline for America to use. The Germans fought the whole war on synthetic

When the Gremans had no more fuel many years ago they made there own synthetic gasoline and thats how they powerd there tanks and jeeps. Why are Americans so affraid to bring this old technelogy to the U.S.A market. Will someone be killed for there brains on this. We can do it and someone wont let it be done. I think were going to run the Saudi dry then we will open Alaska for its oil and then when its gone we will have all the money from world oil sales and make synthetic gasoline here but why wait? Please tell me what you think on this. Thank you.

Yeah, I think preventative measures are definitely better. I think a new president with new insight will be good for the economy. 2008!
