Ced Selectavision

RCA Selectavision help?

Hi, I have an RCA Selectavision VCR. (Not the CED player) I also have 2 camcorders for it, an RCA CKC021 and a CC012. When I plug either one into the VCR, they do everything but record. They’ll play the video through and all of the functions work. I feel like I’m just doing something wrong, but I can’t figure it out.

With some recorders you have to press both the RECORD and PLAY buttons to initiate recording. This was a safety feature to avoid taping over something by accidentally hitting RECORD.
