What would the world be like without Charlie Chaplin?

Doing a project on Charlie Chaplin for our “great balloon debate”. I understand that he was a big influence in the film industry but i was wondering – what did he have that others didn’t, why were his films better than everyone elses, and what things has he done that change the way films are made today?

He showed that we all remain a child in our heart, no matter how old we get, and he knew how to use the 7th art to manage our feeling and purify our souls!
