Jail sentence for Christopher Lee for Drink Driving!????
Its time the government sent a CLEAR SIGNAL that even people like Christopher Lee(Actor)MUST face the consequences.Fact is he did drink & drive,hurt 2 people as a result for his ignorance.Even failed to render help after he hit the victims.So what if he is a Ah Ge(Brother) in Mediacorp!?Does that mean he will get away with only a fine just because he is an famous artist.Everyone is equal when he /she had committed such an serious offence.Only recently Terence Chao(another mediacorp artist) was lucky to get away with a fine & his driving licence suspended.Give us a break ! The government /police have had always emphasied how dangerous & serious for anyone to drive under the influence of alcohol let alone hitting & hurting two innocent victims.There should not be any special treatment given just because he is an artist !! PLS SEND THE SIGNAL TO ALL.HE(Chrsitopher Lee)must be punished & a deterrant sentence should be impose. Singapore Govenment MUST stand firm at what they say.
Yes.Singapore Government should actually make 100% sure that these offences are a real threat & the seriousness.The two victims were lucky cos they can end up with even more permanent injuries or even death.How can Christopher Lee do such a thing!Doesn’t he knows its an BIG offence to drink & drive.How irresponsible ! Even flees after the accident! I totally AGREES that a deterrant sentence should be impose to ensure other people who thinks that they invincible & no one can put them to jail even if they committed such an serious offence.Of course they can afford a good lawyer but is this the way to clear his mistakes?I really dont hope so! He needs to be taught a good lesson so that others like him will not take things for granted !
