As in any sales business, the more people you’re talking to, the better off you are. Since you joined a classic car club and live in Illinois, that part should be simple, as there are plenty of buyers in the area. Honesty is also very important. If a potential customer loses their confidence in you, the chances of a sale decrease greatly. People are not stupid, and can usually tell if a dealer is lying, so that won’t help in long term business situations.
