Cartoons Enjoy Vans (Part 1)

There are actually quite a few cartoons out there that feature cartoon characters that drive, own or have something to do with a van and many of them are tuned in by millions a day. Some of these are made for the smaller generations and some of these havent seen any real success in the cartoon world in a lomg while. Here are the ones that I could think of.

Mystery Machine

If there was a top trumps game based on cartoon vans then this card would beat all of them hands down. When you think of a van in a cartoon then this has to be the one that comes into the mind at first. Believe it or not Scooby Doo is actually forty years old this year as it was first screened in 1969! The show is of course still running and apprently the need for teenage mystery solving gangs has not fallen at all in the forty years. The monster nearly always turns out to be a human in disguise. It is wondered if the gang have this van on Van Leasing

Postman Pat’s Van

This is more of a stop-motion feature than a cartoon but it has to be mentioned as it is certainly the most famous van to be made by somebody here in Britain It was first screened in 1981 and a newer series was made for 2006. It is really aimed at the pre-school children and I can proudly say I used to watch these over and over again when I was younger. Why is Postman Pat so good, well simply because he has to be the only postman that can get stuck in the rain, snow, sleet or even help out people and yet still deliver on time, and he doesnt go on strike!

Cheap Van Leasing has got to be something that these toons held in their minds when getting these vans.

Which has the best van in the popular South Park, Family Guy and South Park series, read part two to find out. Small van leasing is key for the next part.
