Concert Laserdisc
What laserdisc player should I get?
I am now obsessed with getting a high quality copy of Debbie Gibson’s Out of the Blue concert tour. Problem is, its only available on laserdisc and VHS. I assume VHS is lower quality (if not let me know). So, I was thinking about getting a laserdisc player and then converting the laserdisc into DVD format.
Went on ebay and found that laserdisc players range from $20 to $500 even , can’t believe how much they vary in cost.
Which laserdisc player do you recommend I get? I was thinking up to $100 but will that really degrade my video quality?
Also, how should I convert the laserdisc into a dvd?

Not too many manufacturers made Laser Disc players. Pioneer was the manufacturer behind the Laser Disc technology and most purchased by audiophile. I do have the Laser Disc by Debbie gibson in my collection and have the Pioneer player. Hope this will help you out.
