The Power of the Dark Crystal (The Dark Crystal 2)?

I was looking through some old VHS tapes and found and rewatched The Dark Crystal from 1982. I really liked it and looked it up and it looks like they’re finally planning on making a sequel coming out in 2009. Is anyone else planning on watching this?
Ugh, I hated Labyrinth. But, I might watch it if they can get Jennifer Connolly to do it again
