Could some one help me plan for my essay on Dead Poets Society? I have no idea where to start?

Who is to blame for the death of Neil Perry? Explore the idea that others, including his father, Mr. Keating and Welton Academy expected too much from him.
Theres the essay question i chose could some one help me plan for it thanx. I’m not very good with essays. thanx heaps

So start with a brief summary of it. Then go into exploring the death. Who do you feel was to blame? A lot of people were influencing him at the time. You may want to watch the movie again and pay closer attention to that character and how he interacted with others.

Who expected what of him? Write a paragraph on each of the mentioned and what you feel, if anything, they expected of him….and how he seemed to react to that. Was he pressured, did he look forward to the challenge, was it a positive or negative thing?

I haven’t seen the movie in years…your post makes me want to watch it. Good luck with the essay! ☺
