If you want to relax by the beach and get a healthy tan, take one of the many [cheap flights to Malaga] or Tenerife. With more than 300 days of sunshine annually, the crystal blue seas and cinnamon sand will make you feel energised. As one of the oldest places in the world and the birthplace of Picasso, Malaga is a must-see place for culture buffs. Make sure you visit the Roman theatre and La Alcazaba, historic reminders that this city was once invaded by both the Romans and the Moors. There is also the Picasso museum for art lovers, which shows some of his most famous masterpieces.
For those that prefer bigger cities, catch one of the Barcelona flights. A multicultural city with buzzing urban life by the coast, there is so much to discover! Gaudi’s unfinished Sagrada Familia is one of the main highlights. Work on this building commenced in the late nineteenth century and 2026 is the expected date of completion. For a taste of Barcelona’s more eclectic scene, make your way to Las Ramblas. This vibrant area is bustling with lots of cool bars and stalls. If you want to escape from all the madness, make your way to the beach, a short distance away and soak up some sun instead.
Once you return home, you’ll feel better and healthier. Although summer is a few months away, you can get to Spain on a quick and cheap flight.
