Disc Only

I have a Mac and I put my Zoo Tycoon disc into my computer, but only the little disc icon shows up?

Only the little icon of a disc shows up on my screen. And when I click on it it just goes to my Finder. How do I get it to start up?

That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, if its on your desktop, and you double click it, it should bring you to the finder, and show the contents of the CD, try going into Disc utility and make use its showing up in there, and then you can open the finder, and select the CD under the Devices section.
