Ski Doo Snowmobiles – Leaders in Design Innovation
Since the design of his first snowmobile in 1937, Armand Bombardier’s company has been producing Ski Doo snowmobiles that lead the industry in design and innovation. The Canadian company’s Ski Doo sleds are so popular that many people refer to any type of snowmobile as a Ski Doo.
The winter olympics has seen many Ski Doo snowmobiles for support in snow based events, and they have been used frequently as a prop in action movies. Who can forget the the dramatic action scenes in James Bond’s “Die another Day” where Pierce Broson pilots an MX-Z Rev Ski Doo Sled. Several copies of this dramatic high tech snowmobile model were made available for the public to buy, with bright accents of red and silver. The original sled is now on display at the National Motor Museum in England.
Everyone from daredevils, snowmobile enthusiasts and the young at heart have been captivated by the allure of Ski Doo snowmobiles. The machine’s revolutionary two-stroke, direct injection enigine impressed the magazines panel of votors. The engine, called a Rotax engine, offers better fuel efficiency without any loss of performance. The 2009 MX-Z TNT is not the first Ski Doo snowmobile to be recognized by Snowgoer magazine.
It is also best to buy locally to be able to personally inspect and test ride the used sled.
