how much is it to send a package from the UK to Italy?

im sending my sister 3 DVD box sets (each containing 2-3 DVDs) over to italy, can anyone tell my if the cost will be very high recorded delivery? Whats a rough price at the post office?

It depends on how heavy the package is, but if you go to royal mail website, select personal customers, and then select price finder (on the right), you will then be asked where you are sending the item (select overseas, obv!) and the weight. It will then ask you whereabouts overseas you are sending the package so select Italy and then it will show you a box with different methods of posting and their prices. Based on a package weighing up to 1500g you would expect to pay around £15?
