Why hasn’t the TV show “Lou Grant” been released on video?

Only the first three episodes are available on VHS. Why haven’t the rest of the episodes been released on tape or DVD?

The show was considered controversial. Remember these were the Reagan years. Anything that challenged our thinking and raised important moral questions of the day was snuffed out. It was one of the finest television shows ever produced.
