Toshiba 15lv505 Review

If you are in search of a rather small LCD TV, this is really a nice product. Should you have a tight space, like on a kitchen counter under cabinets, this TV is perfect. It included a built in DVD player, which is really a nice perk. The picture is vivid and HD display on it’s outstanding. At this size there is completely no reason to go for 1080p. For a 15.6″ screen, or even a 19″, 720p is fine (Toshiba 15lv505).
At this screen size, Toshiba’s competition tends to be “store brands” or no-name brands. This is the lone high top quality name brand TV in this class (size).
The TV comes with a QAM tuner so you’ll be able to pull any unscrambled analog and digital TV signals from your cable business. The TV accepts coax and ColorStream component connections.
PROs:
* Vivid picture
* Fully adjustable backlight and picture format, also as all the usuals (brightness, contrast, audio, etc.).
* Outstanding sound.
* Matte finish screen reduces glare so screen is viewable in bright and low light situations.
CONs:
* Tuner is fairly slow when switching stations.
* Stand isn’t adjustable for different angles or height.
Overall, this is really a nice TV for the price and has many of the functions you’d want. An adjustable stand would be nice but at this size its not a necessity.

Excellent HD picture top quality
I bought this TV to replace an old rabbit eared CRT on the kitchen counter. Running new cable was the only work involved. The only dilemma that I have encountered with the TV itself is that I watch it too significantly.
Great TV
TV is rather light weight, so easy for my wife to move from room to room. We are taking it on a road trip right now to use as our portable DVD player. Picture clarity is exceptional.
a fantastic TV for the bedroom
This small, widescreen, LCD TV is just the right size for a bedside table. The picture is sharp and clear, the sound crisp and clean, and the styling is unobtrusive. It also has the added perk of a built-in DVD player. It is very light, only several pounds, which makes it a candidate for being carried with one hand to other venues. I can see a rabid football fan bringing this small TV to join the bigger picture-in-picture TV to permit the viewing of three football games at the same time. The DVD is great for playing how-to video’s that definitely need for you to “do-along-with-me” to be able to learn a new skill for instance knitting, sewing, fly tying, basket making, etc.
I have discovered this item to be the most helpful and versatile TV I have ever owned. I am sure you can think of just the place for 1 in your house. It’s undoubtedly a quite good value.
