Intervideo DVD Platinum?
I recently came upon a problem. Whenever i install Intervideo DVD Platinum on any XP Machine, Whenever u want to Play MPEG or MPG files in windows media player, its blank but just hearing the sound. The dvd platinum it has d option to play mpeg or mpg files. If i play the mpeg/mpg files on Intervideo, plays normal but i prefer WMP. When i uninstalled Intervideo, things are back to normal. Windows 98 & Me are exceptions. I’m thinking is conflict between the mpeg/mpg codecs between intervideo and default windows media player? What exactly is the cause and how can i fix it? Laterz!

Yes, you are right. the confilict between WMP’s dlls and Intervideo’s dlls is the cause of this problem, if you want to fix it after you installed the Intervideo, you have to install one of codec package like “K-Lite codec” and then everything will works fine.
