Brothers & Sisters is a drama from executive producers Ken Olin and Jon Robin Baitz. The LA-based Walker family is an ordinary American family. The adult siblings — Sarah Whedon, Tommy Walker, Kevin Walker, Justin Walker, and Kitty Walker — try to live up to their parents’ expectations. Alongside their mother Nora Holden, Nora’s brother Saul Holden, Sarah’s husband Joe Whedon, Tommy’s wife Julia Walker and mysterious Holly Harper, the Walkers struggle through their everyday lives.
Brothers & Sisters is an American television drama series that centers on the wealthy Walker family and their lives in Los Angeles, California.
It premiered on ABC on September 24, 2006 after Desperate Housewives and airs Sundays. The current acting ensemble includes Sally Field, Rachel Griffiths, Calista Flockhart, Balthazar Getty, Matthew Rhys, Dave Annable, Ron Rifkin, Rob Lowe, Luke Macfarlane, Emily VanCamp and Patricia Wettig. Sally Field won the 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Nora Walker. Rachel Griffiths was also nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Season four of Brothers and Sisters premiered on September 27, 2009. Series 4 will premiere on More4 in the UK on the 21st of January 2010, and on the Seven Network in Australia from February 2010.
