where can i find a driver for my lg slim external super multi dvd rewriter?

it was probably six months or so ago that i bought an lg external dvd drive. it worked for a while, then one day my computer stopped recognizing it, and when it did occasionally recognize it, a little help bubble would pop up and say “your device may not work properly.” it turns out the driver no longer works on my computer or my parents…so i’m trying to find a way to download the driver so i can actually use my dvd drive again.
