how do I burn family pictures and video on a disk to view in my dvd player?
We’ve been taking family pictures and video on our kodak easyshare 5.1 megapixle camera. We have lots of them stored on our computer now and don’t know how to burn them on a dvd to view on our dvd player with our big screen when friends and family show up to visit. Is there some sofware, free or otherwise that is simple to use. And so I have to buy special dvd disks for this purpose? I know there is someone out there who can help me with this. I work such long hours in my shop that I don’t have the time to do much research on my own for this. Thankyou.
Do you want it to run continuously? On my DVD player, you can go through the files and choose a picture and then keep hitting the next button. To do this, you just copy the files to a disc. You can use cds or dvds for this (DVDs hold more)
As far as video, it might be easier to put the videos on a separate disc. Are they .avi files? VSO ConvertXtoDVD converts .avi and other files to play on a DVD player. You need DVD+R for this.
You could also try inserting the pictures and clips into Windows Movie Maker (for PC or imovie for Mac – both usually come installed on your computer. Then you would probably need either DVD-R or DVD+R (CDs might not be big enough to hold it)
