Questions about transferring from Montgomery College to UMD after one year?
I am going to a community college this fall semester as well as spring semester.
I plan on transferring to the University of Maryland after one year.
I will be taking 15 credits fall semester and 15 spring semester.
When I do apply for the transfer to UMD, it will be in March; which means that the Admissions Office will only obtain my fall semester grades, and not my spring.
My question is, will this effect my admission to UMD because they do not have the full 30 credits to review? Or will Admission’s Office just keep a hold on my application until they fully obtain all of my grades?
Let me just include, that I am completely confused about the transferring process, and being enlightened as soon as possible would ease my anxiety entirely. Thanks for any response in advance.
my roomate went to MC then transfered to Salisbury after one year. the problem she had was that alot of the classes she took at MC did not transfer to Salisbury even though MC said they would. i would stick to General Ed (biology 101, english, history) until you transfer.
