I am looking for an old family movie about a girl that time travels back to an amish type time period.?

In this movie she meets a young girl and her family. She becomes friends with this girl and her family. She found the time machine in the basement of her apartment. The girl only lived with her father. I think she might have taken the girl back to the present time with her and they went shopping. I watched this movie as a kid and cannot remember the name of the movie. Please help!

There is no “amish-type” time period. What you are talking about is called living prior to the twentieth century.
