What does Johnny Fever say he was fired for saying when he returns to WKRP in Cincinnati?
And it’s not booger. That was what he said *before he joined WKRP. But he quits WKRP during the first season to go work in L.A. He returns in an episode called “Johnny Comes Back”. When the others ask what he was fired for he says you can say booger, but you can’t say ______. And that word is bleeped out in the syndicated and DVD versions of that episode. Is that the joke, or was the word bleeped out after the intitial airings of the show? This has always bothered me to not know but I can’t find a clip of it that isn’t bleeped.
They never did say…that was the joke…it was something that could not be said on radio so for the joke they did a bleep.
