I have a 2003 FORD WINDSTAR DVD PLAYER MOBILE VIDEO SYSTEM,can I install this system on my 2001 windstar?

is the same wiring between 2001 and 2003 ford windstar,where can I check it?

Vehicles like that were not pre-wired for rear seat entertainment if they were not equipped with that option. So you will have to pull the wiring from the rse to the radio, along with the unit. You would also have to verify that the head unit (radio) you have in the 01 is capable of controlling the DVD system. If not, you’ll have to make it part of the swap too. (Yes, the radio plugs are the same between those two years.)
