Why won’t my camcorder DVD-RW discs play on my dvd player?
I was bought a Samsung camcorder for my birthday. I took it to the states with me for my 40th birthday holiday. I filled 10 discs with fantastic memories from Vegas, San Francisco and the Grand Canyon. But, now I am home, not one disc will play in my dvd player. It just comes up with the message ‘bad disc’ on each of the 10 discs.
They are the DVD-RW 30 minute single sided type and when I put them into the camcorder I format them for video. The other option is to format them to ‘VR’ and this doesn’t work either.
I am gutted as I wanted to play them to my family this weekend. I do have a lead to connect the camcorder to the t.v. but not with me. Can I copy these small discs onto a normal size DVD and try this?
Sorry pal by formatting them you have lost all the files on them, next time copy all the files to your computer to keep them safe.
