Should I feel bad about sleeping with my best friends ex girl friend?

He has always been one of my best friends in life since we were in like 2nd grade and we have had many great memories but I have always been interested in a girl that he used to date. SO of course when I got the chance I took it. I almost feel bad but I cant after that great night I had with her. He’s is still recovering from the relationship and has not dated a girl since. Should I keep it from him or should I say F him and get with the girl?
well After reading the replies I think my decision has changed. I really need to take some time to think about this and maybe tell him about this.
