Today is April 2nd, which is the late great Marvin Gaye’s birthday. So in his honor, I would like to know what are your favorite songs by him?
Mine are:
Sexual Healing
Let’s Get It On
What’s Going On
I Heard It Through The Grapevine

Distant Lover
Casapulla2001–Happy Birthday to you, too.
Aquarius QT–my sentiments exactly.
Kennedy–Log off of “HotAisanChicsSuckAss.com” and do some research. You might learn something.
Gone Crazyy–changing your name from “Kennedy” to “Gone Crazy” is taking away from your research time. I’m watching you.
Its hard..Everything that man made was classic. I love what he did with Tammi, and I don’t care what they say, they were soul mates in every sense of the world.
A few that I keep in rotation are “where are we going”, “piece of clay”, “Im going home”…..I love alot of his unreleased songs…But then I have everything the man ever made
Emily Elbert & Mario Jose – Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing (Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell cover)

The Very Best splits ballads and up-tempo stuff half-and-half, letting you hear the great one’s humanity in every mood–the pile-driving rock of “Respect,” the preaching fervor of “Try a Little Tenderness,” the nascent reflection of “Dock of… |

Marvin Gaye: The Real Thing – In Performance 1964-1981 $8.51 The scarcity of any Marvin Gaye on DVD is reason enough to welcome The Real Thing: In Performance 1964-1981, but the fact that this 16-track compilation is superb in nearly every respect is cause for genuine celebration. What we get is not just a collection of songs but a career trajectory, tracing Gaye’s evolution from a cog in the wheel that was Berry Gordy’s Motown into a mature artist with his… |
