The title is not at all meant to be misleading; this is a real story of what occured to me whilst I was on safari. It all began around Christmas time 2007 I said to myself that I actually need to go on a proper holiday something that would give me a lot more satisfaction then just sitting in the sun, drinking and going for a dip.
So I decided to look through a brochure and I came across some amazing safari holidays. They were a bit out of my cost range as I only worked part time, but I had to go this was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I was not going to miss for the world. So I saved up my cash and paid off for this trip.
The months leading up to summer flew by and I was soon on my way to my Kenya holidays. When the jet finally landed a selection of us were taken by jeep to the location. The night was near sowe decided to camp down and start a fire. The following morning came by pretty fast and we went on an great tour, I literally got to see some amazing animals, it was totally mind blowing.
Night struck again, we were all tired so decided to camp down. I was fast asleep and we all got woken up by a loud clacket. We unzipped the hut and there was about four huge elephants heading straight for us. Everyone got panicked I had to take a stand I quickly got them all out of the tents and we headed straight for high lands. It was like something out of Jurassic Park. I led all the team to safety and would do it again in an instant. If you are looking for an adventure than go on a safari holiday I sure will be again soon.
