did Chris Weitz the director of the golden compass do a good job at turning the novel into a movie?
chris weitz it currently directing the New Moon movie from the twilight saga, and it is a book turned to movie as well as the golden compass, but i havent seen that movie is it well done?
The Golden Compass was rushed, and as a result, was a disappointing adaptation. I loved the book and felt like the film fell very short of the quality of the novel. I mean, and I’m not usually like a super-picky viewer. For example, I loved the potter films despite the books obviously being superior, but still, as adaptations, the HP films were excellent.
Sooo.. yeah.
