Make Sure You Get It Right For The Next Fathers’ Day
So Fathers’ Day has just come and gone, and as usual thousands of dads all over the country have been pretending they like the socks they’ve been given. But it needn’t be so difficult to get your dad those perfect gadgets. So, with hindsight on my side, here are a few suggestions for what you could have bought for Fathers’ Day.
First up is the Instant Music Vinyl and Cassette Ripper; the perfect gift for any dad. Costing around £40, it’s actually a fair bit cheaper than i would have thought for such a cool bit of technology. Most dads have a collection of old tapes and vinyls that they just don’t want to get rid of, regardless of the fact that you can’t really play them and they take up loads of space. With gadgets like this one, you’ll be bringing your dear old dad into the 21st century by transferring all those old tapes and vinyls onto your computer in either WAV, WMA or AAC format. You can then put all those classic albums onto an iPod for him and watch him marvel at the wonders of the modern age.
Alternatively, if you don’t think your dad will be able to get his head round that level of technology, you could remember that all dads are just big kids at heart and opt for the Micro BladeZ Apache RC Helictoper. Retailing at around £30, it’s affordable and pretty much guaranteed to get even the grumpiest old man smiling. Surprisingly easy to control, these helicopters can go right, left, down up, forward and backward and are small enough and easy enough to control to fly indoors without worrying about having to replace the furniture.
OK, so Fathers’ Day is gone now and it’s a whole year before it rolls round again, bey hey, either of the above would make ideal birthday gifts, and there’s always next year to get it right!
