Will the new guitar hero world tour controllers on the xbox 360 work with rock band 1?

I’m thinking about buying an xbox 360 and getting the new guitar hero world tour. Was just wondering whether or not the new controllers will work with older games such as rock band 1 and guitar hero 3?

Of course it will work!
If it wouldn’t, then all those big companies would get half the money!

I have an Xbox360, and I got Rockband 1, and the Guitar Hero III as well as the Guitar Hero II controllers work perfectly alright. I’ll post a link here to a perfect website where they have a really good chart about it thats way easy to read. I’m happy too! I want to play Guitar Hero 4 but I am getting Rockband 2 bundle, and guess what: they work perfectly well with each other! Check it out!
