Jewellery In the Movie World

There are so many films that have jewellery as the main centre point of the film. These ones are just some of my favourites.

Titanic

Although this one really isn’t a big favourite of mine, it certainly made an impact on the world when it was first released.

The film is of course set around the Heart of the Ocean which is a very valuable blue diamond necklace.

The diamond only existed through the film and was made for $10,000, it is said to have been based on something similar.

It is actually sitting within the archives of Fox. In the film the treasure hunters track down the last owner who was a survivor of the titanic and it is then she recalls her personal account of the events.

The well made Lord of the Rings

Although this is technically a collection of books, for me the film really showed of the obsession that could be had when it comes to a piece of jewellery. It would seem that the main guy after the ting was always Gollum as he would kill, destroy and do whatever he could just to get his hands on it.

The ring was created by the dark lord Sauron many years before the books actually started and once he was killed the ring was then lost for a long period of time until Gollum found it and murdered his best friend over it.

Gollum was actually a really friendly Hobbit before the ring transformed him into the creature you see him as in the movies, Bilbo Baggins then stole the ring from him. This is where we come in.

Henry Jones Jr or Indiana Jones

The brilliant Indiana Jones is of course famous for treasure hunting but does it for the benefit of the museum over himself~Of course everyone knows that Henry Jones Jr or Indiana Jones is famous for his treasure hunting skills, however he does it for the museum~Although The famous Indiana Jones is famous for his treasure hunting he always does it to take back to a museum of some kind,}. The real question is, will Ford pick up the role for another time? If he then stepped down and let his son takeover that would really suck.
