what can happen if you get your ear cartilage pierced with a gun?

i got my ear cartilage done like 2 days ago and i havent had anything bad happen to it but what can go wrong. i got it done with a gun? and how do you know when something is inffected or it is shattered?

You’ll know when it’s infected or shattered hun as it’s very painful. Hopefully neither will happen but it;s advisable to have cartilage pierced only with a needle to avoid both these things.
