Does anyone have any tips for a very successful house party?

I am having a house party this weekend and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to make it good but not too expensive and without the house being ruined! About 30 people are coming.

Program your music, figure out your foods, buy extra ice and paper plates and plastic cups. And extra paper towels (you know why). And extra trash bags. And set out multiple convenient trash cans. And most importantly…lock up and hide all your valuables!
