Has anybody heard of a Caribbean Safari?

In General people don’t seem to know that there is such a thing as a Caribbean Safari, just the Africa kind? When ever somebody thinks of the Caribbean they always think of the beaches and the blue seas. These holidays are always thought of as a beach holiday, a place to relax and chill out by he sea.

Although you won’t be finding lions or many larger animals on one of these safaris there are many different and diverse animals living here. Safaris and bird watchers, a fantastic combination especially here. Trinidad alone has more bird species than the whole of Canada. With humming birds hovering about around and Pelicans flying way over head it is an astonishing sight.

Now large animals are some what limited on the land but there is not short fall of large animals in the ocean. Animal life doesn’t just stop at safari on the land, you can also travel to the seas as well. You will be seeing Whales and dolphins, and even a diving is optional if you have the proper training. So unlike a safari in Africa where the jeep is safety, you don’t have to worry about too many predators on a Caribbean Safari. But be careful in some of the larger islands you could come across some big alligators.

What is truly astonishing is the general knowledge that the guides have about some of these certain areas. You are sure to be entertained, the locals and the guides tell some great stories. To find about these stories you need to travel on one of the rain forest safaris. So if you have the decision on a Kenya safari or a Caribbean safari, you should think about what kind of holiday you would prefer, the adventure strung Africa Safari, or the more relaxed Caribbean Safari?
