Jonathan Lipnicki was born in California to Canadian Joe Lipnicki from Montreal, Québec, Canada. The family settled in California in response to French Canadian separation back in the 1960s. They took residence in the state in 1964. Jonathan Lipnicki also has an older sister who is an actress.

Jonathan Lipnicki made his name at the age of six alongside Tom Cruise and Renée Zellweger in the Academy Award® nominated Jerry Maguire. He is now recognized for more mature roles in film, TV and, most recently, theatre.
Living in North Hollywood and studying at Playhouse West under the direction of Robert Carnegie, Lipnicki recently finished understudying in the highly acclaimed, Tony Award nominated The Lieutenant of Inishmore.
A black comedy about Irish terrorism, The Lieutenant of Inishmore is being praised by critics and audience alike. “The Lieutenant of Inishmore takes off like a rocket – a brilliant, unpredictable rocket – and doesn’t look back.” writes Jay Reiner for Yahoo! I’m not against gays I was just wondering because i loved the movie little vampire when i was a kid (still do) and then there was some article on yahoo about him in a new movie with Tom Cruise and people said he was gay.
