Will 2012 turn out like judgment day – may 21, 2011?
WILL 2012 TURN OUT LIKE JUDGMENT DAY – MAY 21, 2011?

Harold Camping, Evangelical Christian Broadcaster, and his prediction that Judgment Day, marking the end of the world, would occur on May 21, 2011 offers us an excellent opportunity to develop a more astute capacity for discernment of truth.
What characteristics stand out in Camping’s prediction?
1. He was the only person making this prediction.
2. His only source was his individual interpretation of the Bible.
3. He is one of a number of Evangelical Christian Broadcasters who is a millionaire. I don’t know how he accumulated $17 million, but I suspect his thousands of followers made contributions. When huge amounts of money appear to be involved, I consider that a red flag. This is particularly true for Camping, as he allowed his followers to sell everything they had … to become penniless as they attempted to help him alert the world of the forthcoming Judgment Day. He did so while knowing of his own financial cushion. He chose to keep his $17 million rather than follow Jesus’ teaching to the rich man in Mark 10:21 – “Go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.“
4. His ego is blatantly obvious. The true spiritual leader does not desire followers. God—the Source—is the Breath of Life … It indwells us. To follow blindly anyone or anything outside our selves is to turn our backs on the Divine Presence within. Camping had thousands of followers, whom he knowingly permitted to accept his every word without question. When his prediction proved incorrect, he attempted to comfort his followers with, “Sorry, I don’t know what happened. Anyway, the actual date for Judgment Day is October 21, 2011.” Will he share his $17 million with his followers, who sold everything in preparation for the End of the World?
5. He demonstrates no concern for his followers, and therefore, no attention to the teachings of Jesus whom he professes to proclaim. Jesus taught: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.“ Matthew 19;19b
6. His prophecy is based on fear—fear of not being ready for Judgment Day … fear of being left behind … fear of a God who punishes for eternity.

Prophecy involves predicting the future as if divinely inspired. It is up to those who hear the prophecy to discern whether or not it is divinely inspired.
In today’s world, most expect a prophecy to be carved in stone, even though it may have been made thousands of years ago. Instead, quantum physics teaches that we, the observer and participant, are co-creators. We cannot observe or participant in our world without changing it.
Prophecies, even prophecies we call inspired, are made upon the basis of the energetic patterns at the time. Those patterns change in accordance with the freewill choices of humanity. We create our future. A simple example: An individual dreams of having an accident the following morning … this dream “feels” prophetic—unless something changes. Actually, an accident is one of many probabilites for the next day. The person can listen to the intuitive guidance given in the dream … heed the prophecy … and make a freewill choice to take a different route to work. No accident occurs. By heeding the prophetic warning, the dreamer created another energetic pattern that did not involve an accident.
We hear a lot today about Mother Nature’s severe weather patterns. Yet, anyone who meditates and attunes to the 5th dimension knows that severe weather does not exist on the higher planes. Earth humans have observed and participated in the energy patterns that were once pristine. The symbolic biblical story of the Garden of Eden reveals the perfection God created. The upheaval we experience within Nature today tells the story of how Earth humans have re-created the energetic patterns relating to Earth … we created a world characterized by severe weather conditions with our negative—often violent—thoughts, words, and actions.
As a result of our own creation, we have thousands of years of prophecies—based on the violent energetic patterns humanity created—that one day things will be so bad that the end of the world will manifest. Still, we are co-creators and can change that outcome. In fact, all of nature innately moves toward perfect healing—it is Universal Law that all of creation evolve back into perfection.

2012 marks a cosmic portal through which Earth is to enter that will bring about this perfect healing.
Although we frequently use the term Mayan prophecy in reference to 2012, it is not prophecy based on energetic patterns that can be re-created by our participation. This prophecy is based upon the actual movement of the heavenly bodies within our galaxy and determined by mathematical calculations.
All of life is cyclic. Spring always follows winter … summer always follows spring … autumn always follows summer … winter always follows autumn. This familiar yearly cycle constitutes one fractal of time that expands into ever greater fractals/cycles: a generation > a century > an approximately 2, 000 years cycle > an approximately 5,000 years cycle > an approximately 26,000 years cycle >>> continuing into infinity.
We live in an orderly universe that repeatedly behaves in accordance with Universal Law. 2012 marks the end of at least three cycles:
1. The 2000 years cycle marking the end of the Piscean Age and the beginning of the Aquarian Age.
2. The end of a 5000 years cycle called the 5th World Age within the present 26,000 years cycle and the beginning of the 1st World Age within the next 26,000 years cycle.
3. The end of a 26,000 years cycle called the precession of the equinoxes and the beginning of a new 26,000 years cycle.
Every ending is also the beginning of another experience. The biblical book of Ecclesiastes speaks to the cycles of life: “To everything there is a season.” (Eccles. 3:1) ”That which is now, already has been; and that which is to be, has already been.” (Eccles. 3:15)
In the words of Gregg Braden in his book FRACTAL TIME: The Secret of 2012 & a New World Age: “It is not the planet itself that ends, but our location in an orbit that changes …. the conditions of the galaxy converging in the perfect way to serve as a cosmic midwife …. The great birth that 2012 is facilitating is a spiritual one: humankind’s evolutionary leap in response to the cyclic changes of Earth’s orbit.“
2012 marks a time when Earth is in the ascending portion of its orbit, which renders it near the center of our Milky Way Galaxy. As Earth approaches this center, it ascends into a higher dimension of consciousness. For Earth’s inhabitants, 2012 and the years immediately preceding and following 2012 offer the greatest opportunity for human beings to ascend to full consciousness. This interval marks a season in which it is easier to ascend because the energies are propelling us forward. During the descending portion of Earth’s orbit, humanity must put forth greater effort in order to achieve ascension. Then, it is like swimming upstream alone.
The reason we are being bombarded with information regarding 2012 is that we are approaching a tremendous opportunity for every human being to abandon the wheel of karma (reincarnation) … to leave behind all suffering … and to ascend to 5th dimensional consciousness—to Christed (or anointed) Consciousness. To ascend is to return to full consciousness, a state in which we have intuitive access to all knowledge … in which we live consciously within the pure energies of unconditional love for all of creation. Ascension is the true return of the Christ—to ascend is to give re-birth to the Christed Consciousness that was ours before we descended onto the plane of duality and severely limited consciousness.
If we choose to ignore the opportunities available while Earth spins on its ascending orbit, we will have to wait another 26,000 years for Earth’s return to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy in order to ascend en masse. Individuals can ascend at any point in time; however, much more effort will be required to swim upstream. As Ecclesiastes reminds us: “To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
2012 and the years preceding and following it are the Season for Ascending with Planet Earth and many of its inhabitants. The cyclic nature of life is offering all of us a magnificent doorway to ascension! If we, as individuals, choose to enter that doorway, we will find on the other side a life beyond our present capacity to envision.
Walking through the doorway to ascension, we return to the Garden of Eden. This is the meaning of 2012 for all those who so choose it! In the end, it is YOU who determines what 2012 will mean for you as an individual gifted with free will.
