If Jesus is the messiah hawcome he didn’t rebuild King Solomons temple?

The Jews missing messiah is suppose to rebuild king Solomons temple? so how does this all work? Isn’t Jesus from the line of David? So isn’t he the messiah? I just don’t get it!

Jesus is not from King David’s line. How can he be? Joseph was not – say Christians – his actual father. Thus Jesus is not from David’s line.

In order to qualify as the Jewish messiah, a person must:
- rebuild the temple
- bring WORLD PEACE
- be from King David’s line
- reject doing miracles
- bring Torah to all the nations

These are just SOME of the Jewish prophecies that must be fulfilled by the messiah BEFORE HE DIES. The Jewish messiah only has a NORMAL, MORTAL lifetime. No ‘second coming’.

Thus, Jesus clearly was not the Jewish messiah.

Yet again, people are so quick to state that Judaism doesn’t ‘understand’ the JEWISH messianic prophecies. How arrogant of these people!

Judaism CAME UP WITH the idea of ‘messiah’. So no, Christianity does not get to change it totally and THEN preach to us that we are getting it wrong.

And just to clarify:

The sacrifices did not end because of Jesus. They ended because the Romans DESTROYED THE TEMPLE and sacrifices could ONLY be done IN the temple. The sacrifices carried on for a good forty years *after* Jesus died. Jesus has NO bearing on Judaism. None at all.
