Do employers call last working job or references when reviewing resumes?
I had to beef up my resume becuase it was crappy. I used to work as a warehouse shipping & receiving clerk and am trying to get a new one.
Do employers call last employers or references? or none ?
I call references but don’t put alot of stock in it. Why would someone give me a reference who would say crummy things about them? I do call previous employers. If there is a current, I don’t call it, because who knows if their current employer knows they’re out there looking. I call because people pad their resumes, as you have demonstrated.
