What guitar is John Mayer playing on the song Slow Dancing In a Burning Room on the Where the Light is DVD?

The guitar has a very intricate design on the front of it and is obviously a Fender strat. Can anyone get me a link to the buying site for it or a price quote? Is it one of JM’s special made ones, because obviously that will require more money or be impossible.

It’s the same model as the one Jimi Hendrix burned on stage at the Monterey Pop Festival back in in 1967. (Obviously not the SAME one hah but you get the idea)

unfortunately, it was discontinued in the late 90′s so your best bet would be to look on the internet or eBay.

the price of it though was $6,900 haha
