Three things no man should be without if he wants to look good for summer
Whether you’re planning to go away for the summer or staying at home with family and friends, you’ll want to look your best for the sunny season. A lot of men don’t pay much attention to their appearance, or think it’s something only women need to worry about. But even if you don’t go in for the fancy hairstyles and fashionable clothes, there are still a few basic things that you should make sure you’re doing to keep yourself looking your best through the summer months.
Deodorant – it sounds stupidly obvious, but it really is the most important thing in the summer. No one wants to smell of sweat, and that ‘natural manly scent’ after playing sport is not attractive, whatever some men may think. You could just spray a bit of Lynx and be done with it, although to be honest that doesn’t smell great either. If you really want to stay fresh all through the day there are some really great men’s deodorants out there, which will cover up any embarrassing odours!
Hair Removal – OK so this doesn’t apply to everyone, but if you’re planning on spending any time at the beach or by the pool this summer it might be worth thinking about. Men’s hair removal is something a lot of men would never do, and of course some body hair is natural, but if you have a lot of it – particularly on the back – get rid! Think of it like this, you probably wouldn’t want your girlfriend wandering around the beach in her bikini without shaving her legs or underarms would you? Well how is it different!
Skin – A skincare regime doesn’t have to be overly complicated or take up too much time each day. But if you look after your skin, especially if you’re going to be out and about in the sun, it really will be its own reward later. Sunblock is essential, and it’s important to look after your face too, always moisturise after shaving and for a personal touch why not use one of the thousands of fantastic men’s fragrances and aftershaves that will leave you feeling and smelling great!
