Why hasn’t there been more acknowledgement of how Mike Myers’ name is like Michael Myers?
Michael Myers was the name of the character from the Halloween movies. It’s very similar to the name of actor Mike Myers. Do you find it interesting that this hasn’t really been noted of before?
If there was an actor named Fred Kruger, I’m sure there would’ve been more acknowledgement of the similarity with the character named Freddy Kruger from the Nightmare On Elm Street movies.

Perhaps it is because the rest of us realize that Michael Myers was merely a fictional character, while Mike Myers (the voice of Shrek, and co-star in “Wayne’s World”) is a real live person.
BTW, you forgot about the name similarity between Art Carney’s character on “The Honeymooners” and the name of one of the actors who was in “Fight Club.” Art Carney played Ed Norton, and actor Edward Norton was in “Fight Club.”
