If all the hype around Sandra Bullock lately has made you want to watch a couple of her movies, then look no further than your satellite TV remote. One of her latest films that you can watch is called the Proposal, which she stars in along side Ryan Reynolds.

The Proposal is about an executive in New York City who is from Canada and has to renew her visa in order to be able to stay in New York at her current job. There are only a few ways to do this, and one of them is to marry an American before the visa expires. It so happens that her assistant, Ryan Reynolds, isn’t married and is looking for a promotion. So, after a few turns of events, Bullock is on her way to Reynolds’s home in Alaska to meet the family and get married. Reynolds’s family is not happy about his move to New York City and the whole town seems to know each other and gathers together to meet Bullock and go to their wedding. Just as they are supposed to tie the knot, someone from the Internal Affairs Bureau gets a hold of what’s going on and flies out to Alaska to stop them. The whole family and town finds out what’s going on and their plot is foiled. All the while, Reynolds and Bullock are getting to know each other and maybe even start to fall in love with each other.

Another movie that Sandra Bullock stars in is called Miss Congeniality. In this movie, she is an undercover cop who has to pretend she is in a beauty pageant because the police force has discovered that someone keeps murdering the potential pageant winners. They don’t know if it’s a contestant, if its one of the judges, or someone else all together. But they do know that the winner of the pageant is supposed to be murdered so they need Bullock to go under cover to stop the string of murders. Bullock plays a fashion and manners challenged cop, so transforming her into a beauty queen took a lot of elbow grease. But since Bullock is so naturally beautiful, it wasn’t hard to pass her off as a contestant. The movie is hilarious and Bullock does a great job. She did such a good job and the movie was so successful, in fact, that they made a sequel, Miss Congeniality 2

Bullock was also in the critically acclaimed movie Crash, that one an Oscar for best film. Crash was about many things, but the central theme was racism and discrimination. It was set in Los Angeles, and was several separate storylines that were all connected in someway. Bullock played the wife of the city DA who was in the process of getting elected to a higher office. So, whatever kind of movie you are in the mood for, you can pick one of Sandra Bullock’s movies to watch on the satellite TV menu with just a few clicks of the remote.
