Good/cheap rc truck/monster trucks.?
We live out in the country so we want an offroad capable rc car, but we arent exactly rich either so We woukd prefer something under 200 bucks, yet is a better quality, with working suspension, pretty fast, etc. I thought the emaxx was cheaper but I googled it and it’s like 600 bucks! anyway, a list of higher quality yet affordable rc trucks, monster trucks, buggies, etc. would be appreciated. 4×4 preferred but 2wd will work.
When it comes to GOOD rc vehicles, Good and cheap are not going to happen. You are on the right track with the emaxx though. Traxxas is a great brand and you might want to look at the Traxxas Slash. It’s a 2WD short course truck for around $195 to a 4WD around $450-500. You want to get an RC from a hobby store so spare parts are available. Radio Shack and walmart rc’s….one they break…they stay that way. Check out towerhobbies.com. Just type in Traxxas, HPI, Team Associated or Kyosho. Some of the top selling brands. Another option is to get a used one off of ebay or craigslist. You might have to put a little money into it to get it up and running but you can get these $600 vehicles for half the price used. A Traxxas slash 2WD might cost you $100-150 and run just fine. I have one and it’s a blast. Check out the T Maxx, Revo, and Jato as well. There are a ton to chose from. Good luck! It’s the best hobby I’ve ever had!
