Noise Dvd

i have a regular 30″ tv,but when I play a dvd there’s a loud humming noise?

I bought the t.v. ,last year.And the dvd player is about 4 yrs. old.But when the dvd ,first starts to play all the preview movies parts ,it’s ok.It’s when the actual movie starts to play it starts a loud humming noise!

it happens to all the dvd’s whether I’ve rented them or bought them.

Doesn’t make any sense. The TV doesn’t (nor even the DVD player) say, “Hey, I like THIS part, so I’ll play it okay, but THAT part sucks so I’m going to screw it up!” When you notice that the previews are louder volume than the movie, it’s because it was recorded that way. So if there is a hum only in the movie, IT was recorded that way, too. Does it happen with every DVD or just the one?
