A Geisha is a woman that has gone through painstaking training in the art of entertaining in the Japanese way. The hairstyle is also unique. It is pulled back off the face in a bun like shape.
A Geisha will wear a kimono. The kimono can be an elaborate or plain piece of apparel depending on the individual and the occasion. On her waist the Geisha will tie an Obi. This is a sash that can also be very elaborate. It will will tied at the back in a creative shape and often defines the shape of the costume.
